Purple tulips in the beginning of spring. No, we aren’t getting tulips outside yet, but it’s really nice to have some inside. We got a dusting of snow last night, but in here, it’s already spring. [...] Ben is one of the special needs sanctuary dogs. He has cerebellar hypoplasia, which causes him to be somewhat jerky in motion. Ben came from a shelter, where he had lived his entire life in a kennel. He was quite clumsy from being so confined. Ben has developed great coordination in the last 18 months. He [...] It’s so nice when she actually stops moving. I don’t think this puppy is ever going to grow up. But boy is she cute. Seedlings coming up, when it’s still cold and nasty outside. Here is the broccoli. Amazingly this wee sprout will become some yummy soup or stir fry. And then cause my husband to fart. Well that’s not so amazing, I don’t believe there is anything that doesn’t cause that. Oooh, tomatoes. These are Brandywines, [...] |
