Whew, I’ve finally gotten my photos together from last week’s whirlwind trip to Boston. We flew out to go to my husband’s long lost cousin’s wedding and figured we should do a little exploring while we were there. We safely landed despite our plane’s wing getting struck by lightning on the way down…yipes. Then we [...] I can finally show you one of the super secret paintings I’ve been working on. I made this portrait of Nala the wee husky girl for my friend’s wedding present. Isn’t she a cutie? She was almost as fun to paint as she is to be around. In real life she’s a bouncing, pouncing [...] After our kinda poopy night’s sleep, we get up and are ready to head to the main event, Carlsbad Caverns. Just a tip, Carlsbad is mostly closed on Sunday. Thankfully the hotel restaurant was open and made us some breakfast burritos to go. Off to the Caverns, which is quite a distance from Carlsbad itself, [...] We drive into Roswell from the north, and slowly but surely there were signs of alien life everywhere.
