Everything was covered in frost yesterday morning. Thick, sparkly frost. I braved the cold and took photos. Tons of them. The light keep changing so I kept running out to try to capture it all before it all melted. It was all gone by 10 o’clock. I’m so glad I [...] This guy (er girl?) has been hanging around the house for the past few days. It our state bird. The Roadrunner, and no I haven’t seen any coyotes chasing him. Weird fact, they are part of the cuckoo family, actually known as the earth cuckoo. (from Wikipedia) Some Pueblo Indian tribes, such as [...] We packed up and were on our way to Denver, when P saw a lake on a map. Never underestimate the determination of that man when he has a map. We got lost trying to find it but when we did, it was totally worth it. See honey, you were right. The destination, Dowdy Lake. [...] The peas have arrived. Go little peas! These awesome tulips are blooming. They are another reminder that I really should right write down what these darn plants are. I’d love more of them, but I have no clue what they are. And in other exciting news. We are getting cherries this year. [...] Warning…there will be lots of photos of flowers coming up. The garden is in full flowery spring glory right now.
