Everything was covered in frost yesterday morning. Thick, sparkly frost.

This guy (er girl?) has been hanging around the house for the past few days.
It our state bird. The Roadrunner, and no I haven’t seen any coyotes chasing him. Weird fact, they are part of the cuckoo family, actually known as the earth cuckoo.

We packed up and were on our way to Denver, when P saw a lake on a map. Never underestimate the determination of that man when he has a map. We got lost trying to find it but when we did, it was totally worth it. See honey, you were right.
