I can finally show you one of the super secret paintings I’ve been working on. I made this portrait of Nala the wee husky girl for my friend’s wedding present. Isn’t she a cutie? She was almost as fun to paint as she is to be around. In real life she’s a bouncing, pouncing [...] A new painting. A little painting of a little bat, just hanging out. I did the background in the silver leaf that I’m loving right now. It’s a entry for Cellar Door’s Teeny Tiny Terrors Show. I can’t wait to see what other little horrors show up to the show. I know lots of [...] The Old Style is done. It’s a tall can so it’s a bit bigger than the other in the cheap beer series. It’s 8″ x 10″. Framed of course in can tabs, each lovingly drunk by some member or friend of this household. I cannot guarantee that they are all Old Style, since it’s [...] Sproing! It’s a wee red fox in mid pounce. It’s little, a 8″x6″ oil on panel with some silver leaf for extra glow. If you can’t resist, I’ve popped it up on my etsy. [...] After many delays (frozen, exploding pipes, trips to Italy, general artistic block) I finally got a new painting done. It’s 8″ x8″ on panel with a super nifty chainlink chain. Many thanks to Mellow Velo for donating me some old chains, I have more plans for them. As soon as this bad boy dries [...] |
