What an amazing day/night and weekend. Ari and I left Golden on Friday and stayed near Dolores with Holly and Steve at their cabin. The next day after a short hike in an aspen forest, we drove to Cortez and rode Phil’s World mountain bike trail. That trail is so fun, if you are ever in that neck of the woods, you need to ride it. It is a directional mountain bike trail with lots of flow, lots of small ups and downs and fun ledges. After having a great ride, we treated ourselves to a burger at Burger Boy, then drove to the Ska Brewing’s 16th Anniversary Party. Unfortunately, Ari wasn’t able to get in, but thank goodness Jeni was available (thanks again!!!). I also lucked out because my friends from New Mexico, Dominique and Preston, came out to the event. After grabbing an IPA, I hooked up with them and we had a blast!
