These awesome tulips are blooming. They are another reminder that I really should right write down what these darn plants are. I’d love more of them, but I have no clue what they are.

Amazing Easter

I started off Sunday with an amazing bike ride with some buddies, the weather was amazing. I got a ride back home and packed up to go to our friend’s farm.

There was amazing food, sunshine, tons of laughing, goats (which I totally forgot to take pictures of…doh!), dogs, prosecco, egg shaped jello shots, [...]

Hooray, the first stirrings of spring are here.

The weather has been fabulous this spring…warm and not terribly windy. Of course, this being New Mexico, I’m wondering when the next snow is coming.

In the meantime…

I’ll enjoy what’s popping up all over the yard.

I bought myself the Dreamy Diana lens from Photojojo to play around with. So far, pretty darn fun.

Slightly blurred, weird lens flares, yup I like it. One tip, you have to shoot with a lot of contrast or it does nothing. Also shooting in auto will just make you mad.

I decided to paint a coyote, even though it’s such the southwestern cliche. At least he’s not howling. I’m surrounded by these little buggers, so it seemed inevitable to paint one. If they are going to keep me up at night they might as well provide a little inspiration.

Calla lilies. Awesome to take photos of, just ask Robert Mappelthorpe. Sucky as a cut flower, they got brown and icky in 4 days. Sigh.
