about the artist
My name is Dominique Revelle and I make things. Hand painted silk scarves, photographs, graphic design, jewelry and paintings.
I’ve been an artist of some sort as long as I can remember, but I’ve also been a ski instructor for kids, a sandwich maker, a hotel room cleaner (don’t ask) and a cleaner of cages at a wildlife refuge (ask all you want).
I live in Northern New Mexico and am constantly inspired by its amazing skies, wonderful light and the kick ass green chile. I live with my bicycle obsessed husband and our super star cat El Guapo and our emo dog Anya and the big lug, Taji. Also a mountain of unread books.
I adore gardening, mountain biking, big skies, skiing, mules, puppy feet, museums, reading, dark beer and dark chocolate. Oh and cheese. I love cheese. I’m a total nerd, I adore zombies, Game of Thrones, steampunk, vampires, whatever. I am not ashamed that I love TV.
What’s a Zuli?
Zuli was my beloved dog. She had a joy and passion for living and a great sense of humor.
